Calerin Golf Course is a beautiful 9-hole layout that is part of GOLF NORTH - which manages a vast array of golf courses in Southeastern Ontario. These range from shorter,
player friendly designs to top notch championship layouts that will challenge the skills of all levels of players. Courses include Acton, Beaverdale, Brant Valley, Brookfield, Burford,

Like River Edge in Kitchener, Calerin is an upscale 9-hole golf experience, with manicured fairways and green complexes plus sculpted tee areas. After my visit I was left wishing
there were 18 holes - this is a beautiful piece of property and the conditioning is exquisite from tee to green. It is an easy course to walk, but carts are available and remember that
you can play from varying tees to create an 18-hole experience - many of the alternate are situated to the side to give a different perspective.
There are 2 sets of tee areas that play to distances measuring a 3229 and 3060 yards. The slope rating is not set but we would anticipate it to be on par with a good quality
course. The are two par fives - both over 500 yards, 2 short par threes and 5 par fours that range from 342 to 441 yards from the tips. Though a nine hole layout - it is not merely a
short course. There are 46 soft sand bunkers - many large and several intricately shaped. Water comes into play on 2 holes.
The clubhouse features a pro shop plus snack area with sandwiches and beverages. A practice green for putting and chipping is on property. Another nice feature - there are no
residential properties dotting the landscape - just scattered trees, native high grasses and natural areas, and plenty of lush rolling fairways. We highly recommend a visit here!
