Mystic Golf Club in Ancaster, Ontario is an upscale golf experience, with manicured fairways and green complexes plus sculpted tee areas. The layout meanders along a very
rolling terrain with some significant carries (none of 190 yards from the tips) over ravines, creeks and natural areas. Unique features include several greenside grass bunkers and
numerous hilly, sloping fairways that are bordered by trees or tall native grasses. 55 sand bunkers are located near the landing zones or situated greenside, and water hazards
come into play on 13 holes.
There are 5 sets of tee areas that play to distances and slopes measuring a whopping 7365 yards yards/144 slope, 6713 yards/135 slope, 6398 yards/134 slope, 6096 yards
with a slope of 129 for men and 148 for women, and 4868 yards/118 slope and men and 120 for ladies. 150 yard stakes and 100, 150 and 200 yard markers are posted on the
fairways and cart path of all par fours and fives. Small markers on the flagsticks indicate the day's front, middle or back hole locations. This can be a very challenging round - there
is usually room off the tee but land in the rough and par is a tough chore.

The clubhouse features a pro shop, snack area with sandwiches and beverages, plus outing/event pavilion tent. Practice facilities include a spacious targeted driving range and
a 2 putting/chipping greens. Check out the view of the daunting 468 yard par four ninth hole from behind the green - really a beautiful scene.
