Indian Hills Golf Club (519-786-5505)
Ontario Golf Course Review
Indian Hills Golf Club in Forest (Lambton Shores) - about 20 minutes south of Grand Bend, is an 18-hole Ross Ashford layout that is one of the most scenic courses in
Southwestern Ontario. NOTE: All renovations on the course from late 2015 are now complete and Indian Hills Golf Club is in spectacular condition. With the considerable
amount of doglegs, this is a true shot makers course, and extremely fun to play!
The clubhouse features a pro shop with snack area, and a practice green is on property. The marking system on course includes 200, 150, and 100 yard stakes on all par fours
and fives, Golfers will have to judge the day's pin placements a no information is provided.
With a 127 slope rating from the tips, this course has one of the highest slope rating in Lambton County. Elevated tees, undulating fairways and numerous carries over creeks and
natural areas make for a challenging and interesting round. There are 50 soft sand bunkers situated near the landing zones off the tee, or greenside.
This course is not overly long, but will test your shot making skills - especially on the 7 doglegs - four favoring a left to right shot shape and 3 that bend to the left. Four sets of tees
play to yardages and slopes measuring 6426 yards/127 slope for men and 140 for ladies, 5996 yards/124 slope for men and 134 slope for women, 5558 yards/121 slope for
men and 129 for women, and 4654 yards/ 111 slope for men and 119 for women playing from the forward tees. With multiple tee areas, golfers of various skill levels can enjoy a
round here.
Water hazards come into play in some shape or form on 8 holes. We highly recommend a round here! For more info, visit our alpha page for the course with direct link to their
