Brookfield Golf Club in Cambridge, Ontario is 27-hole layout with 3 rather short nines that include just 1 par five and 8 par threes - with the remaining holes consisting of short par
fours that play between 275 and 395 yards from the back tees, with most under 360. The gently rolling terrain provides mostly level lies, making this a great course for beginners,
seniors and juniors - also an easy walking course. There are only 6 bunkers on the course, so having a good sand game is not a necessity. Water hazards come into play on 3
holes, mostly off the tee.
There are 3 sets of tee areas that play to distances measuring GOLD 2764 yards, BLUE 2624 yards and RED 2420 yards. Slopes for an 18 hole round measure from 100 to 112.
150 yard stakes and 100, 150 and 200 yard markers are posted on the fairways and cart path of all par fours and fives. Small markers on the flagsticks indicate the front, middle
or pack pin placements.
The clubhouse features a pro shop, restaurant/lounge, plus outing/event facilities. Practice facilities include a putting/chipping green, but no range. Partial cart paths mean that
golfers can often drive directly to their ball. Most holes are tree-lined but not densely, with significant landing areas. The red and blue courses uniquely begin with par threes.
