Taking advantage of the undulating topography surrounding the beauty of Lake Scugog, King's Bay Golf Club is a wonderful addition to the King's Bay sub-division, but properties
along the course are set well back from fairways and offer no discernible hazard to players. In fact, it is easy to lose yourself in this pristine, natural environment with gorgeous
lake views and beautiful landscapes.
You can choose from 4 sets of tee boxes at King's Bay which measure 3,301 yards, 3,070 yards, 2,846 yards and 2,554 yards. The course is well marked with yardage stakes at
100, 150 & 200 yards on all par fours and fives. Color coded flags indicate front, middle and back hole locations. Gas powered golf carts are available, but this course is also
easily walkable.
Conditions at King's Bay Golf Club are nothing less than perfect. Tee boxes and greens are well-manicured, lush fairways are nicely maintained and sculpted sand bunkers are
clean and deep. There are 3 holes where water come into play on the course and 20 sand traps dot the fairways, approach areas and green complexes. The greens are medium
to small with mild slopes and undulations. Fairways offer ample landing areas and number nine, a 487 yard downhill par 5 features a split fairway with bunkering everywhere.
Wonderful views of Lake Scugog are featured along the left side of the course on holes number 4, 5, 6 and 7.
The clubhouse offers a golf shop that carries a small variety of equipment and clothing, and a licensed snack shop that provides both hot and cold menu items. Outings for
groups of up to 72 people can be arranged where either BBQ or catered hot meals are provided. A practice green is also provided on property.
We were impressed with the conditions and layout at King's Bay Golf Club and highly recommend a round here. Play twice for a great 18-hole experience or combine play here
with a round at Canterbury Golf Club, it's sister 9-hole course just down the road. You won't be disappointed! For more information on Canterbury Golf Club visit our information
